Title I Parent Information

Title I is designed to:

  • Help students to achieve academic success in Reading, Mathematics and Science
  • Increase student performance in high poverty schools through school wide reform
  • Build teacher quality through quality professional development and
  • Enhance parents' abilities to help their children succeed through quality parental involvement activities

Involvement:

  • Community Council

Title I offers the following programs:

  • 4 year-old preschool
  • Before and after school tutoring
  • Free and reduced cost breakfast and lunch
  • Small group and individual tutoring
  • All-day kindergarten for children who qualify
  • Quality computer instruction available at school and home
